bad day

I hope everyone had a good day yesterday, mine was something else,.....

Here is a brief rundown.

Got up at 4 something AM

Packed our stuff up(we were at Cody's parents) and drove home.

Unpack car, decide we had nothing in house for Cody's lunch and send him to work without promising I would bring him something about 11:30

Take care of some house stuff and Bethany

Go to Wal Mart to buy grocery's and Cody's lunch

Get in check-out line at exactly 11:35

Call Cody to say I will be a few min late

Stand in EXACT same spot in line for 25 min before slowly inching forward
(the first couple in line were have in problems with their card and were trying to communicate with sign language. Apparently they both were deaf and mute)

Spend total of 40 min in line

After getting everything in car and driving on base I finally get Cody's lunch to him at 12:40

Decide to stop at ATM on way home

ATM eats my card

I call # on ATM they say it is broke and there is no way to retrieve card it automatically destroys them so I have to get a new card

Drive to bank wait for service with hungry tired little girl who won't sit still

Get new card and my withdrawal taken care of

Go home

Unload car, put food away, feed Bethany and I and calm down( I'm hot and frustrated by that point. It was 90+ degrees outside)

Realize it is after 3 and Bethany usually naps around 1

Put Bethany down and get on computer to look at hotels for our upcoming stay at the beach in NC till Cody gets home and a couple of hours after dinner too

The rest of the day was rather uneventful which I was immensely grateful for. I came to a few conclusions though:

I want to hire a babysitter and a maid<>

I will not go to Wal Mart any more between 11 & 1 or between 4 &7 the lines are so not worth it

I need a small break before our trip,....I think I will ask my friend Stacey to babysit for a few hours today.

On the bright side I bought Bethany a new swimsuit and 2 new dresses and they are really cute. she loves to wear swimsuits and wore her new one from the time we got home from till bedtime last night.
