To say I haven't posted in awhile would be a gross understatement so I'll just say "Hi!" "How've you been?" "Long time no,..." Well, you get the point right?


Lots of things are exactly the same & a few are very different. We're still living in (& working on fixing up) the same house, we still have 3 kids, 2 cats, & several fish/snails. Thing is, our cats aren't kittens anymore. And the kids, well, something seems to have changed about them too. They're growing up!


Garrett is 7. SEVEN!!! I can't believe that! That means in 11yrs he'll be an adult! Capable of (& responsible for) making his own life decisions, starting life in the "real world", maybe having a special person he wants to share life with,....I don't even want to think about it! He's already doing things that scare me, like learning to throw knives & hatchets, shooting guns, & ridding a dirt bike. How will I be able to handle him starting to drive, going on dates, & whatever other things he may decide to do?


Bethany will be 5 in 6 short months. A couple months after that she will be starting kindergarten! She loves to draw & is quite talented. She loves to play Barbies, & dress up like a princess. Daddy is her FAVORITE person in the world with Papa & Nanny running a pretty close second, I probably rank somewhere between her brother & the barbies. LOL! We have been having "school" every day in prep for the real deal. It usually consists of a worksheet & a coordinating color page. She LOVES it! :(

Sorry, mixed feelings there,....


Lily is,.....WOW! Um, she's a typical rowdy 2 yr old. Into EVERYTHING, constantly climbing onto & jumping off of stuff, taking her diaper off yet refusing to potty-train, coloring on the walls, terrorizing the cats, & getting into the fridge & pantry. Needless to say she keeps me pretty busy! Aside from the mischievous orneriness however she is the sweetest of my kids. Well, when she wants to be,....


Cody & I still love each other. We have good days & bad,...who doesn't. Just being honest here :P I'm thankful for every day though, good or bad. I'm thankful we are working though life's challenges together. I wouldn't want it any other way. :)
