Homemade Cheap(er) Lasagna & Yummy Garlic Bread

Sarah's Lasagna

1 Box Lasagna Noodles
1 Jar Spaghetti Sauce (I use Classico)
1 Container Ricotta Cheese
1 Lb Mozzarella, shredded (can use half Monterrey Jack if ya want)
1 Lb Ground Beef, very lean
Onion Powder
Garlic Powder
Salt & Pepper
Italian Seasoning

1. Get your pot of water for the noodles started.
2. Preheat oven to 400.
3. Brown the ground beef.
4. Mix spaghetti sauce and ricotta together in lg bowl.
5. Season ground beef well with all seasonings to taste.
(You'll want it to have alot of flavor.)
6. Cook noodles as directed, drain, and toss with a bit of olive oil.
7. In 9x13 pan, spread a tiny bit of the sauce mix and lay 3 noodles over the top.
8. Add 1/3rd of the beef, 1/4th of your sauce, and 1/4 of your shredded cheese. Add another layer of noodles. Repeat 3x's.
9. Over the top of your last noodle layer spread your remaining sauce, and cover with your remaining cheese.
10. Bake uncovered for 20-30 min.

We can only eat 1/2 of this at once. I've found that I can freeze the remainder in my 9x9 pan, thaw it, add a little water, cover with foil, and bake at 350 for 45 min. It's maybe even better the second time around!
