I wanted to post these pics yesterday but didn't. There is a variety here so I shall explain them. Monday Cody & I bought some of those baby doll bottles for Bethany. The ones where the juice or milk inside looks like it's disappearing when you turn it upside down. So yesterday when I watched Riley for a couple of hours they were trying to drink out of them.

This past weekend we were quite busy. We went to Jennings on Friday after Cody got off work. Bubba and his family were camping at a lake a few min from Cody's Mom's house so we went to visit them on Saturday morning. The area they camped in is called Frog Rock. It's named for this rock you can see why.

Later on Saturday we got together with a lot of John & Debbie's friends and a few of ours and drove to an Amish community outside of Tulsa. An Amish woman there runs a kitchen in her basement and has the most wonderful food served in big bowels at your table. As much as you can eat, it's like Thanksgiving. And the food is wonderful!

Sunday we went to a different lake where Cody's
Dad and his side of the family was camping, or more like RVing, which I don't consider to be real camping. It was nice to see all of them. Cody's grandma recently found out she has lung cancer. Her treatments really appear to be beating her up which was sad to see. I really like her. I hope she will be around long enough for my kids to remember her.

On a happier note and speaking of my kids, we are leaving for NC in less than 3 weeks to pick up Garrett. We are going to take a week long vacation in the state and I'm really looking forward to that. We are taking the kids to the beach for a few days then coming back to where my family lives and staying there for a day or two so we can visit them.

Bethany has turned into quite the girly girl. She loves shoes and accessories. She has long conversations on her phones and mine when she can get it. She likes to feed her babies, give them bottles, and cover them up with her little face blanket. She also likes her earings,...which became a problem when she started taking them out over the weekend and lost one of them. I need to find a kind of earing she can't take out but won't tear her ear up if she tries to take it out. The ones she took out were the ones they use to pierce the ears with and had locking backs.

Yesterday we were out with Stacey and Rylee and we went to a feed store to see the baby animals. She loved looking at the chicks but she stuck her finger into the rabbit cage and one bit her finger pretty good. Her finger is so small that in comparison the bit is deep and big. I have been putting stuff on it and am hoping it won't become infected.

I think that's about it for now. I'll try to do better on my posting frequency. Have a great week!
