just a quick update

I have had a VERY busy week. Want me to tell you about it? OK. I'll try to make it short,.....

Sunday: Bought an entertainment center for the living room. It's VERY nice. Got it used-found a great deal! Yeah! Moved some furniture. Migraine. Getting over the cold still.

Monday: Lily-Dr Apt. 4 mo checkup/shots. She's great. 90th percentile in height! WOW! Bought a tv for the entertainment center. Got it new, 2010 46" Sony BRAVIA, got 600 bucks off too! Had fun getting out of the house as a family. Had a really wierd dream. Migraine.

Tuesday: Took the kids to the zoo with a couple of other girls- nice day, almost 80! Lots of pics,...don't know when you will get to see them(just being honest here). Cody came home early from work-sick. Migraine.

Wednesday: Cody stayed home-still sick. Made homemade rolls, pork ribs, green beans, and mashed potatoes(from scratch) for dinner-soo good! Migraine yet again!

Thursday: Went to the JBF sale with Stacie, got clothes for all 3 kids for this Summer. Good deals but they add up. BK for lunch! Made baked salmon, brussle sprouts, and scalloped potatoes(not from scratch) for supper. Kids went to MDO from 9-3! Starbucks for breakfast. I'm all about food, can you tell? Bethany tried on all of her new clothes and I took pics. ANOTHER MIGRAINE! Bethany didn't have a nap,....very cranky at night~!

Friday(today so far): Kids both up around 6:30am! WHY? Bethany got tired and crabby early so I put her down for a nap before lunch instead of after. Now they are both sleeping. I'm writing this and messing with the 222 pictures I downloaded onto the computer this morning. I promise o put some of them up,.... someday. :)

I don't know what is causing the migraines but I am soo ready for them to go away. They happen every afternoon/evening and besides the headache part, I get nauseous, light hurts my eyes, my brain just refuses to function normally(someone just said that's usual, I know they did! Shhh!!!), and noise hurts my ears. I've tried BC powders, Ibuprofen, and extra strength Tylenol. Nothing helps of more than 30-45 min. May need to go to the Dr about it soon!

Trials and Tribulations

so I told her if she wanted me to stop I would need some really good pictures first,...and she thought about it for a minute.

new chair

Lily got a new chair towards the end of January, it has proved to be very useful. I really love it and so does she.

About a week ago I left Lily in her chair in the living room and went into the kitchen to put pizza bites in the oven. When I walked back into the living room Lily was gone! My instant thought was that someone had somehow taken her. I VERY quickly searched the house and discovered that Bethany had pushed Lily, in her chair, into our bedroom at the end of the hall and was playing with her.

Man oh man did that scare me! My heart felt like it was going to beat a hole in my chest for at least an hour afterwards.

Since then Bethany has pushed Lily around quite a bit. They both think it's a load of fun. Wonder if they can still do that with the new carpet in?

Has there ever been alot going on lately! I haven't been able to use the computer since my last post. A virus (or something) attacked the computer while I was on Myspace several weeks back and as a result we couldn't use it until Cody messed with it. It's not the first time that has happened so I decided to delete my Myspace account. It just wasn't worth the hassle. I like facebook alot better anyways :)

I've missed the computer, mostly because I like to put pics on it all the time and mess with them. Also the bills are alot easier to do on it than they are on the IPOD. Although don't get me wrong, I do love, love , love having the ipod. Anyways yesterday I took all the pictures off the camera and put them on the computer. Then I tried to take more pics of the girls but my camera batteries went dead. I still have about 300 pics to go through and/or edit but I am working on getting new picture posts up soon.

We have been busy working on the house for 5 or 6 weeks now. So far we have painted the living room, hallway, and one bedroom, installed new doors on all the bedrooms and the bathroom, took out the window sills in the living room and one bedroom and made new, deeper windowsills and are putting 1 x 4 trim around the windows. We are planning on re-doing all the windows in the house before we stop. The finished ones look amazing! We got carpet installed in the living, hall and all 3 bedrooms yesterday and I LOVE it! It is so nice to be able to lay Lily on the floor. She likes it too because she can see everyone and what they are doing.

We still have alot to do in this remodeling phase, finishing the windows, installing crown molding, and putting in baseboard, and door trim. Then we are going to take a short break from the house and do a little landscaping. We do have 2 more remodeling projects planned after that, the bathroom, and the kitchen/dining area. It's going to look like a new house before you know it!!!

On top of the house stuff, the girls and I have been sick for a little more than a week now. Between the 3 of us there have been 7 separate dr visits since last Wed(that's 7 apts in 9 days folks). Lily has another Dr visit on Mon too but that one is to get her reg 4mo shots. Right now Lily is recovering from a bronchial infection, a little pneumonia, and ear infections in both ears. Bethany also has an ear infection, fever, cough and congestion. I have bronchitis and a sinus infection myself. It's been pretty interesting. So far Cody has not gotten sick and I really hope it stays that way. This crap ain't any fun!

I miss my Garrett and am looking forward to seeing him in June. Bethany has been looking for him. Sometimes I think she thinks he is hiding somewhere and is going to pop out and say BOO! I can't think about that too much.

Hopefully we will be able to go back to the beach this Summer. It was really a nice family vacation last year. Maybe this time he won't be as afraid of the waves. I would really like to see ALL of my family this year. Many of them haven't met my Cody or any/or some of my kids. That's WAYYY to long not to see family!

Cody, my dear, you must prepare yourself for adventures, that is after all why you married me. ;) We are going to see and be seen and go whenever and wherever we decide! WOOHOO!!!

Sorry, I got a little carried away there,............

Ummmm,... oh yeah,....today I found a really nice little reclining loveseat cheap. I'm taking Cody to look at it tomorrow. I am painting our living room tables to give them a whole new look and buying a slipcover for the sofa. I got a nice little rolltop desk off Craigslist for 60 bucks and am hoping to find an entertainment center there too. Why not buy used if you can find it nice right? After all, everyone has used furniture :) I'm debating on leaving the bookshelf alone or painting it to match the tables. I'm a little worried that if I paint it the paint might rub off on the books. thoughts?

I have so much to tell you and so many wonderful pictures to share!!! But since I have 10Million things going on and about 300 pics to go through you are going to have to wait a little longer. BUT,....I Promise there will be many new posts SOON! Just trust me on that one.
