Last weekend

Cody and I got to go out last weekend. Nanny babysitted for us. We went to dinner then picked up Bubba and went to the 'honky tonk' for dancing and karaoke. Cody sang several songs and Bub sang too. I haven't got the confidence to sing in front of anyone, or is it that I know I can't sing worth a darn? Anywho I had a lot of fun dancing anyways. We didn't bring the camera but I did snap a few right before we left. Then my batteries died.

theyre stuck

I have a ton of new pics but they're stuck in the camera. The batteries died on me so I can't take any more or transfer the existing ones :( I've missed a ton of great pics in the past week or so. I think a trip to Wal Marts is in order.

Lily had her 2 month check-up and shots about a week ago. She is doing very good. 11lbs,7oz (50-75%) and 23 1/2 inches long (75-90%). She did ok with the shots. I hate that part. The dr took Bethany out of the room when they gave them. Apparently a little boy recently passed out cold seeing his baby sister get shots and hit the floor pretty hard so they aren't taking any chances in that department anymore.

I had a couple of fun weekends lately but looks like this one will be much calmer. I'm seriously missing my BF and want her to come visit for a weekend soon but I think she's working weekends now :(

We had dinner at Bob and Kristin's house last night, almond crusted chicken and pasta with a wonderful lemony butter/wine sauce. Bob cooks the kind of stuff I would love to cook but because of the kids seldom have time to organize and cook. They sent the rest of the sauce home with us so we get to have it again tonight. I'm going to look forward to that all day. :)

So I think I've officially talked myself in to going to get batteries and whatever else is on our list. Have to get a scale too, Cody and I are both starting a "diet" on Monday. Starting to exercise too. I gave Cody a great incentive to work out so hopefully he will. Wish us luck!

Lunch with my girls

Today I had to run an errand. Since we were going to be out of the house anyways I decided to go to lunch with my girls. We went to our local (maybe 2 min from our house) IHOP. We were seated right next to a table of 12? senior citizens. They all oohhed and awed over the kids(who wouldn't :P). Bethany was very good except she kept turning around to say HI. Lily was good too, she slept about half of the time and then woke up. We had an excelent waitress. So good in fact that on our way out I found the manager and told him it was the best service I've had anywhere in quite some time. On their way out some of the seniors comented on how good the kids were and one lady told me "You do real good with your kids" which I consider to be a great compliment. I really enjoy taking my kids to lunch. I try to go at least once a month.

Lily turned 2 months old a couple of days ago. She is getting so big. She coos and smiles alot now. She has a Dr Appt, and shots, on Friday. :( I hate that. I do have a few pics on the camera and need to take some more.

I am about to go wash the bottles since not one is clean and Lily will be hungry soon. She is watching a Veggie Tales sing-along right now and Bethany is having her naptime. I also need to wash the rest of the dishes and run some laundry through. Fun stuff that.

In other news I am going blonder again. Why not right?
